Google to congress : Don’t censor the web !

Google wants to end piracy but not liberty.

Of course one could argue that Liberty should include Piracy! Anyways,Google.com US online has a nice link asking fellow American citizens to tell congress not to censor the web.

You can read under the Google search button the following “Tell Congress: Please don’t censor the web!”
The link goes on https://www.google.com/landing/takeaction/ using an unusual style from Google.

You can read the following:

“Two bills before Congress, known as the Protect IP Act (PIPA) in the Senate and the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the House, would censor the Web and impose harmful regulations on American business. Millions of Internet users and entrepreneurs already oppose SOPA and PIPA.

The Senate will begin voting on January 24th. Please let them know how you feel. Sign this petition urging Congress to vote NO on PIPA and SOPA before it is too late.”

There is also a form to directly gather free mailing lists, erm, I mean to tell Congress not to censor the web!

Go Google!
