Editor’s Opinion

I decided to launch News of the Internet, simply because i noticed (and it may not come as a surprise), that most of the technological news website are biased: thanks to shareholders, political figures and different of other factors (lawyers).

I am French – meaning that this project is a good way for me to really improve my English. I am currently chief technology officer in a Marketing company based in London. I mostly take care of the “big plans”, as well as the compliance. During my experience in this field of “compliance” (Mostly for “.com” internet gambling websites wanting to go regulated and legit), i went to many “license agreement” meetings, which i have noticed are driven most likely by who gives the biggest envelopes to the regulator.

This has been my main motivation of creating NOTI. I could notice that even if you have the best software, marketing and professionalism: If you do not “pay”, you will be in a great load of trouble obtaining and maintaining licenses for your clients!

I will of course write pretty soon a lot about this.

Prior to my current position, I was a software engineer for an e-commerce company, dealing mostly with payment methods integrations, websites creations… Well practically anything technical! (ie: Dev, Project Planning, etc.)

It helped me grow up in all these fields and mature enough to understand that i was being exploited. I guess i still am, but sadly this is the current game in the IT field.

If you share my views, do not hesitate to drop me a few lines, using the contact page of NOTI.
