SOPA and PIPA’s bottoms
Appreciate the actual strength of Facebook and Twitter as they do not need to show an act of support against SOPA/etc. Their user generated content is doing that for them.
However, Google has a nice little link under their search box, and Wikipedia is closed for English speakers (Even the Brits).
WordPress sent a nice piece to each of their blogs “Help Stop SOPA/PIPA”.
You can read the following on Wikipedia :
“For over a decade, we have spent millions of hours building the largest encyclopedia in human history. Right now, the U.S. Congress is considering legislation that could fatally damage the free and open Internet. For 24 hours, to raise awareness, we are blacking out Wikipedia.”
American, unlike Frenchs is not that used to massive actions, but this time, this is really impressive.
