The cool watch – The Mutewatch

I usually need a watch, as many of us, right ? Well, I’ve been trying now for months a very nice little one named the MuteWatch, which is one of a kind !

It’s mainly a multi-touch screen watch, very “plastic”, in grey or red, at a price tag of around 200 GBP Retail. I am usually allergic to plastic handles, but this one seems to work well on my arm.

For the moment, what i am just describing to you is an expensive plastic watch ! However, what’s phenomenal for me about it, is that this watch can record multiple Alarms and timers, which actually make your watch vibrate, so you know secretly when your meeting as to end !

You have two settings : Short and Long vibration.

Short vibration doesn’t wake me up in the morning, as Long is a lot better and even has a small check that you are fully awake.

This is my main point of interest with the MuteWatch and I really like it! As its an electric watch, it needs to be charged via an hidden male USB cable (in the watch bracelet), and it will last around 4 to 5 days.

Now, on the down side that occurred to me ! Sadly at some point, my watch USB cable wasn’t working , and i could not charge it anymore ! Which indeed is a big problem when you buy an expensive watch !

I wrote to the MW team, which arranged for me to have it exchanged, so hopefully I should come up with an update very soon on how this new watch will work. The team is very responsive and of quality.

Also, as the watch has an USB cable, i hope that it will be possible to upgrade its firmware in time, directly from the computer – to make it even cooler.

The watch is available in Europe, Asian and the US. You can find retail shops from their website. http://www.mutewatch.com
